The CG Board 12th exam offers subjects across the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams. Common subjects included in the Science stream are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. In the Commerce stream, the students can opt for subjects from Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics. From the year 2024, the board is conducting the board exams twice a year to give students chance to pass the exam twice. CGBSE class 10 and 12 main board exams are held in March. On the other hand, 2nd CGBSE Board exams are held in July/August.

The CGBSE 12th exam 2025 will be held for 3 hours. The maximum marks for a subject are 100 including Theory and Practical. 30 marks are allotted for practical and internal assessments.
