Now if we compare both the jobs, then both are prestigious jobs in Govt. providing you incentives, money. Now, it depends on you what you want in your life. If you want to gain some power of administration in your hand and also want money, then surely you must go for SSC-CGL because in PO job you are not given any power related to administration. And if you want to earn much money in your life then surely go for bank PO job. Now, here I am describing some points where you can get some idea why I would say that SSC-CGL jobs are much better than Bank PO jobs.

This is true that you can fight for both the exams at the same time.
Syllabus of both the exam is quite similar.

Yes, you can appear for SSC CGL exam. The major news related to SSC CGL eligibility is that the criteria regarding SSC CGL age limit 2016 has changed. According to an initial official notification by SSC related with age limit for SSC CGL, the age limit for applying SSC CGL posts will be taken as on 1 August, 2016.
