The basic educational qualification required for most of the posts in SSC CGL exam is Bachelors Degree (graduation degree) or equivalent from a recognized university.

Hello, Thanks for asking. The main difference between SSC CGL & CAT is - SSC CGL is easier than CAT. CAT is famous for its unpredictability. In SSC CGL, you have to prepare for - Quantitative Aptitude, English, reasoning, GK, trigonometry, geometry, algebra. Preparation for SSC CGL will help you in preparing for basics required for CAT. Once your basics are strong, application of them should be learn for CAT. The 4 major sections of CAT Exam - Logical Reasoning Data Interpretation Quantitative Aptitude Verbal & Reading Comprehension.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization responsible for recruiting individuals for posts in different Ministries and departments of the Government of India & in subordinate offices.
Age Limit - Candidates age should be in between 18 to 27 years to apply for SSC CGL exam.
Education qualification - Candidates who have completed their graduation from a well-known university or college can apply for SSC CGL exam.
So we can say that SSC CGL is the best option for all graduates who want a government job.

Of course, a fine arts graduate can appear for SSC CGL exam given that the person must have qualified their class 12th from any recognised board. The person should be above 18 years of age.

The Commission reduced the number of tiers to expedite the exam process because of the Central Government Mandate to increase the recruitment in the Government.
