Hello Aspirants!
Yes, Definitely. NET basically tests your subject knowledge and if you have read well during your college, it won't be that difficult for you. It also depends on your subject. I had commerce and most of the preparation for NET was from Graduation books. Hence, I could qualify it in the first attempt itself. One more positive aspect is that the exam cycle for both the exams is different which can be taken advantage of. NET is a one time thing. Strategy-

The basic and compulsory education qualification required under SSC CGL Eligibility is holding a Bachelor's Degree / Graduation or any equivalent qualification from a recognised university. Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University or Institute.

The eligibility for AFCAT here
Education: Graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks and have passed Maths and Physics as a subject at 10+2 level B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized University with min 60% marks. Age Limit: 20 to 24 years.

There is no college for SSC CGL. You have to prepare by yourself.
One of the essential tips is to start SSC CGL preparation plan is to understand the SSC CGL exam pattern carefully. There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2019-20, with 100 questions which account for a total of 200 marks.
