CGC Landran offers scholarships for its BCA programme. There are several scholarship programmes offered by non-governmental organisations, the federal government, and state governments.  CGC Landran offers a three-year full-time BCA course at the UG level in affiliation with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. BCA course is divided into six semesters. The college offers BCA through Chandigarh College of Technology. It comprises of the subjects like database, networking, data structure, core programming language including Python, C, C+, Java and Android. This course provides a lot of opportunities to students who are interested in the computer firled and wish to work in the IT sector as programmers or software developers. At CGC, the BCA course has been strategically divided into theory and practice. In three years, the students get the knack of IT and computer applications through rigorous training/teaching.After completing Class 12, students can apply for BCA course.

 BCA is one of the top course of CGC Landran. The institute attracted more than 800 recruiters for its 2023 placement session who offered a variety of job roles to the students across sectors, such as BFSI, IT, Education, FMCG, Consulting, and E-Commerce, etc. The top recruiters of CGC Landran in 2023 included Deloitte, Amazon, Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc. These recruiters placed students in various sectors and offered new-age job profiles. In the recent placement drive, BCA students were offered a the highest package of INR 19.25 LPA. Candidates must pass Class 12 in any stream with at least 45% aggregate to apply for BCA course. Those candidates who have passed their matriculation examination and have also passed three-year Diploma in any trade from Punjab State Board of Technical and Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal are also eligible. Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran provides admission to BCA course based on merit in the last qualifying exam. As soon as the selection rounds are over, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college. The total fee for BCA is INR 2.30 lakh. The fee is calculated on semester basis.
