The integrated courses have been removed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and have not received approval form the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well. No student studying or passout from UICET will suggest you to go for CHEM+MBA course. It is not worth at all. Reason is very simple, the 5 years chem+MBA course is not recognised. Every year some students join this course and the only thing they do for next 5 years is regret. Initially there were good placements for this course. But with time placements for chem+MBA course have declined drastically. Well chemical engineering course is far much better than the integrated chemical course in UICET. The integrated chemical course have a lot of loopholes of its own. If you are getting Chemical Engineering then it's good but if you are getting Chemical Engineering + MBA then it's not worth spending 5 years. It has a very little value and some companies may not even consider the MBA. If you are not able to get Chemical Engineering then go for Food Technology instead of the integrated MBA course.

The campus of the college covers an area of 16.5 acres of land. GGDSD College Chandigarh facilities & infrastructure is modern and provide a comfortable environment to the students. The college has a library, separate hostels for boys and girls, modern classrooms, an auditorium etc. The classrooms and auditorium of the institute have modern facilities. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 1000 people. The college also has facilities for sports like cricket, kabaddi, football etc. Every year the college students participate in various sports tournaments organised inside and outside the campus.
