The Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, near Mohali is an old name. It is a known institute in that region and has made a good reputation in admissions as well. However, the placements are still a thing to question. Still, in comparison to their own CU, they are far better and good opportunities are possible through MBA.

Both the institutes are good and it is very hard to compare them. Allen, Jaipur may have an upper hand over Chandigarh in terms of course structure and teaching methodology.

Not necessary, you can also take admission directly there as its one of best colleges specially for software branches every year. It provides good placement. Go through college site & put you registration they will call you.

Both colleges are in the same ranking so you can not underestimate both college's ranking, placement and quality of education.

Admission in PEC on the basis of paid seat is 22 lakhs. Can you really afford this as there is no chance on the basis of boards but yes, if you are a state topper or on 2nd or 3rd position in the state, you may try.
