Chandigarh University is organizing Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test known as CUCET which is a National level online entrance test. It is a mandatory test for acceptance into UG programs of Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture and Integrated Law, and MBA. This time CUCET 2021 was launched by the Honorable Minister of Education Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank Ji. Chandigarh University comes with the idea of investing in talent, CUCET offers promising students with incredible financial assistance. Moreover, the CUCET test will be used for admissions cum scholarship purpose which is aimed at recognizing the achievements, potential & talent of the students by providing a chance-to-all to win scholarships and study at Chandigarh University in futuristic & cutting-edge programs of their choice. The test will be based on the syllabi of concerned qualifying examination and aptitude for that subject. The objective of this policy is to establish University's commitment to admit deserving students on Merit basis and reward them with scholarships through Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This policy also aims to provide transparency and objectivity in administering and disbursing Chandigarh University Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate scholarships. The CUCET have been instituted to admit students of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. ), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, B.Com+LLB), B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture. On the basis of Entrance Test only with an exception for those who secure more than 90% marks in qualifying examination or upto 50000 rank in JEE.

The M.Sc. (Animation and Multimedia Technology) program is a full time course spanning over 2 years, that includes one semester of foundation process, two semesters of intense 3D project oriented training by industry experts, and one semester of extensive live project. The students can opt any of the four electives in the second semester; 3D Animation, VFX, Advertising and Documentary Film Making. This program is specially designed for students who want to move into the animation and multimedia industry. The course is specifically aimed at providing intensive knowledge of animation design and visual effects, and subsequent application to 3D modeling, character animation, character rigging, texture and lighting, visual effects and more. The practical training provided under this program mirrors the work in professional animation and visual effects houses, and is delivered in state-of-the-art laboratories with one-to-one student-to-machine ratio. The training modules include comprehensive knowledge of global industry-standard animation and visual effects software applications, including Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, Max, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Z-Brush, Corel Draw and Fusion.

M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry
Eligibility Criteria : Candidates who have completed B.Sc. degree with the subjects like Chemistry, Zoology, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology or an equivalent degree in a Science stream from a recognised board are eligible for M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry course. Candidates should obtain 55% of marks in their Bachelor degree examination.
