You have enough percentage to sit in the interviews of any company. Students having more than 60% are allowed in almost each and every company.
All the best.

As it is a new course in CU so there is no place for mechatronics and the number of faculty members is not enough as per subjects.

I want to answer your question in brief.
There are 2 options available if you want to stay in a hostel at Chandigarh University.
Non-AC rooms.
AC rooms.
Now, coming to the fee of the hostel, I being a 2018 pass out pays an amount of Rs70K per annum for Non-AC room.
This includes room rent, mess fee and water bills. Electricity charges are extra depending on the usage.
Now, if you are going to take admission in the upcoming session, your hostel fee will be around 80K as there's a hike of 5K every year. Now, coming to the food they offer. If you are a vegetarian you'll love the food they give. Paneer twice a week and there's change

Well, telling dramatically, when it comes to infrastructure and facility, it is average we can't compare it with LPU, SRM or any other big university but when it comes to a brand name, CU lack's at large extent. Well, when we say of placements then it gives you most happiness, the placements at CGC are quite good for software as many branded companies visit the campus like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Dell, IBM, etc. And also major recruiting companies like Infosys, Cognizant, etc. CU conducts various competitive fest and workshops. Also, CU provides international internships with various foreign universities of USA, Canada

Both the universities are better in their own ways.
Both have their pros and cons.
Chandigarh University:
Some good things about this university:
1. Excellent infrastructure and most important it is growing day by day.
2. Good and supportive faculty.
3. Well-equipped labs.
4. Hostel facility is very good, you don't have to worry about anything except food a little.
5. Placement oriented guidance.
6. Easy reach to the higher authority of the university.
7. No ragging.
I have never seen a single ragging case in my first year, seniors are very supportive.
8. Students from all over the India even foreign country study here.
