BE is the degree that is valid not only in India but also in every part of the world.
The main motive of the university to provide this is that they want their students to grow up according to other universities in the world.
But as far as the difference is concerned, it is almost the same as B.Tech.

Chandigarh universirty is well know for its placement in computer science department .it provides more than other colleges in north india. Every year, according to Microsoft, they select max no. of students from our university and highest package in CSE is 31.44 lacs PA.

As far as you are good in studies, it means you are the hard-working type and it is good because any of the courses opted by you need more than average efforts in studies.

You can get direct admission very easily. According to your percentage in class 12th, you are not eligible for scholarship, but you can apply for CUSAT form and all other information related to CUSAT is on our site cuchd.in. You can login and be the part of our fastrack, for more detailed information. And, as you decision is concerned, you are at your right path for pursuing B.Tech in CU. CSE department provides highest placement in the North India and Microsoft. The well-known company selects max numbers of its own settled selected students from our university. Chandigarh University has a tie-up with many countries across the world and it is very helpful. This help students to integrate the semester exchange program to educate the same courses in another university with our tie-ups. There is not a big difference between these two. Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) has three campuses. Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landra (2001), Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Gharuan (2009), Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhangeri. After that CGC-Gharuan is transformed to Chandigarh University, Gharuan. Now, it's affiliated to University Grant Commission (UGC). Now, it's independent entity. Have its own courses and curriculum. But placement is joint.

BA program in Chandigarh University includes subjects like history, political sciences, and a few subjects related to culture and literature.
