Chandigarh University offers a wide range of merit and need-based scholarships to students of undergraduate and postgraduate levels. For the same, CU has allocated INR 170 crore for the academic year 2023-24. As per NIRF 2024 rankings, CU is ranked 32 under the 'Engineering' category and managed to improve its position from the last year's ranking, which was 45 in the year 2022. CU has set records for engineering education & is ranked among the Best Engineering Colleges in Punjab, India.The students pursuing BTech from the university get excellent placement offers. During Chandigarh University 2023 placements, the highest international package went up to INR 1.70 LPA for Engineering courses. The highest domestic package went up to INR 54.75 LPA. The Chandigarh University course admission to all courses (UG, PG, integrated, Diploma and other) is done through CUCET. The university also conducts a counselling process for admission to BPharma, MPharma, BA LLB, LLM and BSc Nursing. Additionally, it accepts a few national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, NATA, CAT, MAT, XAT, etc., to provide scholarships to its UG and PG aspirants. However, whether these exams are also considered for admission or not must be confirmed from CU admission office as there is no clarity on the same on the official website.

Chandigarh University admissions 2024 are ongoing. Admissions at CU take place in two phases. The admission process for Phase 2 is ongoing. The last date of CUCET 2024 Phase-2 registration is extended till Oct 09, 2024. Candidates can register online on the official website of the university for admission to the course of their choice.

The admission process for Chandigarh University starts with the registrations of CUCET, which is an in-house entrance exam of Chandigarh University. The registration process for Phase 1 is ongoing and will last till May 30, 2024. After the completion of the first phase exams, the application window will get open for the second phase. No, the provision of direct admission to a two-year MBA course at Chandigarh University is not available. Admission to this course is completely entrance-based. Interested candidates must apply for CUCET on the official website of Chandigarh University and appear for the respective entrance exam. This entrance exam is conducted online in two phases.
