For undergraduate programs, the entrance examination is known as Common Entrance Test (CET), while for postgraduate programs, it is the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGE). You need to register and appear for the respective entrance examination applicable to your desired program.Visit the official website of CCSHAU and navigate to the admissions section. Look for the online application portal and fill out the application form with accurate details. Pay the required application fee as per the instructions provided.After successful submission of the application, you will be able to download the admit card for the entrance examination. The admit card contains essential details such as examination date, time, and venue.On the scheduled date, appear for the entrance examination at the designated examination center. Follow the instructions provided on the admit card and carry all the necessary documents, including the admit card and a valid photo ID.After the examination, CCSHAU will announce the results and prepare a merit list based on the performance in the entrance examination. Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling sessions, where they will have the opportunity to choose their preferred programme and college based on their rank and availability of seats.Once you are allotted a seat during the counseling process, you will need to visit the designated center for document verification. Carry all the required original documents, such as mark sheets, certificates, and identification proof. Upon successful verification, pay the admission fee and secure your admission in the program.

The Counselling & Placement Cell of the Directorate of CCSHAU in association with the Department of Employment, Haryana, has set up a University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau, which provides information to the students about job opportunities, competitive examinations, scholarships / fellowship etc. It also conducts various training programs, Career Counselling Sessions & Motivation Lectures for the entrance examinations/admissions in various reputed management institutes and arrange the campus interview for the placement of students in the public and private sectors. Besides, the Cell also brings out a fortnightly news letter 'Career Bulletin' for students of the University to keep them abreast of information on placement, admissions, scholarships, fellowships etc. in India & abroad. The Cell also conducts training programmes for students on various aspects of personality development and communication skills. Companies like HDFC bank, Syngenta Pvt. Ltd., Gharda Chemical Ltd. etc. are some of the companies offering campus placement drives which offer starting packages of 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA.
