There is a very little scope of chemical engineering in India but a great scope abroad. NIT-Jalandhar is good. But you have to do work hard to go abroad.

For chemical engineering, I will suggest you to be good in chemistry and physics. So in class 12, understand the concept of physics and maths very well. After class 12 try to give all the entrance test for engineering like JEE Mains and then Advanced, WBJEE, VITEE, SRM, BITSAT, etc.

But, it is a sad reality that this profession gets much more recognition abroad than our country due to lack of knowledge and resources. Hello, prepare for the entrance of IIMs and apply for executive MBA. According to me IIM-A is best for that. Other than IIMs you can even try for Great Lake, Chennai, this college is also good for executive MBA. Hope this information will be helpful to you. Thank you!!
