Chemical engineering is one the oldest branches in MIT-Manipal, and has really good facilities considering laboratories and equipments. The faculty is also very knowledgeable and the branch allows specialization is various topics, such as Petroleum, Pollution control etc.

Hi Ajeet,
The institute offers Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) course. It's a four years full-time degree programme. They don't provide distance education in chemical engineering.

If you are getting chemical at old iits I would say go for it. Old IITs (Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kanpur, Roorkee, Kharagpur, Guwahati), else compare each IIT placement and MNNIT placement then choose accordingly.

In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. All IITs are good.
Also, NIT Tiruchirappalli is the best and the oldest among other NITs with excellent placements and infrastructure.

Of course. This campus has a very good reputation in India. They offer quality education with the support of qualified faculty members. The placement is also very good. Majority are getting placed with a package of over 4 LPA. So I suggest you to go for this campus.

You can do Diploma course in chemical engineering after class 10 and B.Tech chemical engineering after class 12. Complete your class 12 and then go for B.Tech that will be a good idea. Doing Diploma is a nice idea for early Job but not high salary. But doing B.Tech you can get good salary. So choice is yours. Take good decision.
