10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths is mandatory for admission into the graduation program of Chemical Engineering.
Entrance Exams are conducted for admission into B.E. or B.Tech.
A diploma in Chemical engineering gives the candidate a position of junior engineer and the course can be taken up after Class 10.
M.Tech can be pursued after completion of B.E. or B.Tech.
One can also pursue PhD after completion of postgraduate studies, and can take up a job as a lecturer and in due time can become a professor. However, to reach the post of a professor requires immense experience and teaching hours.

The discipline is about:
1 reducing the gap between gathered sustenance and available food by changing the method of completed item, i.e., processing, packaging and storage conditions, etc.
2 Healthy food, diets, calories, nutrition status, etc.
3 planning and management of the production process from raw materials to finished product taking food safety and quality into account.

I don't think that VIT entertains shifting of college. You can get admitted here through MH-CET or JEE Mains. But irrespective of this, you can always maintain a good pointer that is above 9. This will help you in future for your higher studies or placements.
