There is no need to apply separately for stream 2 and if you don't get a seat in stream 1 you can surely get a seat in stream 2.
The website to apply is www.sastra.edu and the last date is June10.
You can also get mechanical engineering as you have really good chances for it. Apply to sastra university as soon as possible

At SASTRA University the admission is based on two streams
Stream 1: JEE marks and board exam marks adn stream 2: only board exam marks.
So if you have appeared for JEE then you can apply through stream 1or you have to apply through stream 2 only.
B.Sc chemistry has no value but if you do atleast an M.Sc then it has some value. You can become a professor. If you do Ph.D then you will be getting a huge salary in a private university.
In case of chemical engineering, there is a better scope when compared to B.Sc chemistry. So you can take that to have a good sa
