In all the branches, the best branch is the chemical engineering. As, in this branch there is no need of going to the clients and demand for the fund. This is the only branch, where you only have to do research in the labs only.

Yes, you can get good college in both the streams in the mechanical engineering, you can get the college such as ABES and KIET, as the best choice of the top colleges in UP.

If you want to be in core sector, Mechanical in IIT, BHU is good. IIT, BHU is a very old college, and branches like Civil and Mechanical are best. If you want to join non-core after graduation, opt for Chemical at IIT KGP. Placements at IIT BHU are very good in CSE and core branches.
