Eligibility Criteria for taking admission is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th, subject to qualifying entrance exam. Some institutes give direct admission to students on the basis of their marks in 10th. You can do it from : DTU, PTU, UPTU, LPU

It is the college which is known for its great infrastructure in whole Gujarat and better facilities provided by the colleges like Wi-Fi Sports Complex, etc. Nirma University is the college that focuses mainly on studies, therefore, you don't need to worry about the faculty members and it also has the rule of 85% compulsory attendance. Placement is good for chemical engineering students. You will get decent chemical companies. You may even get placed in government chemical companies. You can get a maximum package of 5-6 lacs but not more than that. The mass package you may get is 3-4 lacs are from non-core companies like TCS or Accentu

As per I know, till date for the academic year 2016-17, a total of about 760 plus students have been placed in different companies. Many IT, core companies come for placement in our college having satisfactory annual packages. The college offer guaranteed placement assistance to all its students. Last year companies like IBM, Infosys, Electromech, Gabriel, Forbes Marshal, Godrej & Boyce. Average Package is 2.1 Lacs and the highest up to 9 Lacs, For chemical engineering. Majorly students have got IT based roles and very few have got core companies in pharmaceutical sector.

Placements: In 2015-16, the placement was 30% and in 2016-17, it has gone up to 50%. The average salary is 3 lacs and the max. Is 8 Lacs for chemical engineering specialisation. The lowest is 1.8 Lacs per annum. The companies that visited for Pharma sector based jobs for chemical engineering students are Reliance, Honeywell, Filtra Consultancy, Accenture, PolyOne, Kingfa, Praxair, Pfizer, Ranbaxy, etc. For 2015-16 batch, The chemical department had the least number of placements. T guaranteed as dedicated placement cell has not been established, Even though ICT is considered as one of the best institutes for academics where one can study about chemistry and chemical engineering sciences, as far as campus placements are concerned, the scenario is not that up to the mark. If you are considering to opt for higher studies in place of Masters from US then the institute is rather better augmented to be in as it is far ahead than most of the IIT's in this genre. Many job opportunities are there for Chemical Engineers in pharma companies. The placements at National Institute of Technology, Surathkal of Chemical are really good. The placement ratio is almost 90%. Many multinational IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc. , visit the campus every year and take students from here. The minimum package offered for this branch is around 4-5 LPA, average package is around 7-9 LPA and the highest is 15 LPA.
