International students studying in Canada can work part time during studies. During semester breaks and vacations, one can also work full time. It is a very good way to earn some extra pocket money and also gain some experience. The universities also offer various part time job within the campus, you should look for such jobs specially teaching assistantship for making a strong profile and also gaining some good experience in your field. You can contact the universities regarding these points while you are applying.

Three-year degree programs are not mostly accepted by Canadian universities. Also, MS programs are very selective. You can check the university websites for the entry requirements. I will suggest you check other countries such as Australia, New Zealand, UK etc where 3-year degree programs are accepted.
