It depends on personal choice of candidate who wants to do M.Sc. Being biochemist, I feel M.Sc. In biochemistry is better, however, future scope in M.Sc. In Chemistry is not less. Biochemistry deals with study of chemical basis of life in living organism including plants and animals. It is very much developed Science and has following branches:-Animal biochemistryMedical biochemistryClinical biochemistryPlant biochemistryEnvironmental biochemistryNutrition biochemistryIndustrial biochemistry, molecular Biology and genetics etc. Study of Biochemistry has good scope like in teaching in medical and dental college, clinical research.

MSc in Analytical Chemistry at Shivaji University, Kolhapur provides two year course program and to pursue this course one should qualify in entrance test and cut off is 50 to 85 percentage and fee structure is 35K to 60K per year and even scholarship is also provided

Christ University provides three year Bachelor of science course which may include both physical and life sciences as the fee structure is 10K to 25K per year and scholarship is also provided.

MSc in Chemistry at University of Hyderabad provides two year course program and to pursue this course one should qualify in entrance test that is ICET test and should also complete his or her Bachelor's with or above 80 percentage and fee structure is 6K to 12k per year and even scholarship is also provided

B.Sc in Chemistry at Vikram Deb Autonomous College is a three years course program. In order to pursue this course one should complete his or her intermediate with 60 to 90 percentage and the fee structure is 4795 per year as it's a three year course.
