Yes it's true that food sciences is majorly based on Chemistry like food nutrition and chemical aspects of food but I can assure you that if you think that you can do it by giving some extra time during your campus days. Then sure go for it.

To get an easy score of 70+ in your JEE Advanced paper go for direct questions first and try to solve them rather than doing long numerical questions. You should go for the main topics and notes prepared in physical Chemistry and try to learn maximum formulas and theory.

Preparing for advance is not a joke and you might have qualified in Mains to write in JEE advance. And preparing for both Chemistry and Physics in one month is highly impossible. So, from Physics and Chemistry in which your are good at, prepare for that majorly and also concentrate in Maths to get high marks.

Sastra considers overall +2 marks for ranking. You haven't mentioned whether student is from CBSE or state board and state of resident. Assuming CBSE by seeing scores. Student with 440 above out off 500 will be getting a chance in sastra. All the best.

Yes, courses are available. There are various course types in Bachelor of Science, and one of them is B.Sc CBZ ( chemistry, botany, and zoology). This course educates the students about the basics of Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology combined. Students study the Science of matter along with its structure, properties, characteristics, etc. All you have to do is find the colleges with this and apply for admission.
