Eligibility criteria :
a) The candidates who have taken the post-H.S.C. 3-year degree course of Bachelor of Science with Chemistry as a major subject and Mathematics at H.S.C. level and passed the bachelor examination with at least 60% of the marks in aggregate of equivalent grade average. [55% for the backward class candidates only from Maharashtra State] are only eligible to apply.
b) The candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination in one sitting will be preferred.

I will advice yo to identify a right institute like LPU because of its exposure provided ti students and the types of placements arranged by the University. Stick to Chemistry only and pursue your M. /Sc as this programme prepares a student to become an effective teacher, chemist and a good researcher
You need to track the dates of admission and eligibility norms of the god institute as I know one institute I. e.

According to the previous exam analysis, Organic & Physical Chemistry had more weightage compare to inorganic chemistry. JAM aspirants can begin with any section which they feel easy & scoring. Firstly you have to read good text books for building the concept. (like ncert etc. )
Further you can go with Best IIT JAM Books for Chemistry
You have to practice those chapter which you read. So after completing the chapter and solving the problems which are given in the text book you should analyze yourself by giving a exam on it on grade up because then you know about your strength and weakness on that chapter.
