Considering the placements Bhavans College is not that apt as there are only 30-35% of the students gets placements. The college is still struggling to operate its placement cell fully. However, the facilities and infrastructure of the college help the students a lot to improve their skills.

Yes, you can appear for the IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics exam even if you are pursuing B.Sc in Physics with Math and Chemistry. The eligibility criteria for the IIT JAM exam statest that you require a minimum of 55% for General/OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates in their Bachelor's Degree. Yes it is necessary for a Science student to have chemistry in class 11 and class 12 since the Science stream comprises mainly of 3 subjects physics, chemistry and biology.You can opt to not have biology in your classes 11 and 12 by choosing non medical stream but you can not opt out chemistry as a subject since it is a mandatory subject in the Science stream for any child.The students are required to have both physics and chemistry as a mandatory subjects in their classes 11 and 12.
