You can pursue M.Sc in chemistry or Maths only if you had chemistry or Maths as your subjects in your graduation, only then you can pursue M.Sc. In respective subjects otherwise you are not eligible for the same.

If your son is performing better in mathematics, then he should also focus on chemistry, because it will boost his rank easily. He should choose computer Science engineering or ECE branch, but depending on his interest let's take decision himself. He knew his weakness and strength.
