Hi,IIT JAM exam is held yearly for M.Sc admission in top colleges like IITs, NITs, IISc, etc. This exam is held for six subjects including chemistry subject. You need to prepare with a proper study plan and strategy to clear this exam. Hi Appu,
You can pursue M.Sc in chemistry or Maths only if you had chemistry or Maths as your subjects in your graduation, only then you can pursue M.Sc. In respective subjects otherwise you are not eligible for the same.

If your son is performing better in mathematics, then he should also focus on chemistry, because it will boost his rank easily. He should choose computer Science engineering or ECE branch, but depending on his interest let's take decision himself. He knew his weakness and strength.

Hello Himanshi, yes indeed. For admissions into bio related engineering courses taking biology in 12th is perfectly acceptable. However, there are some institutions that have mandated maths and physics as compulsory and choice between chemistry or biology. Hence, you need to check before applying.
