It is safe to get information, directly from the UGC. You will find there a list of unrecognised universities. Or else, visit the nearest Degree College and find out from them. You will find a list of universities which are fake, if you enquire at them.

Obviously, Thapar Institute of Technology, because it has good rating and you will have a royal life in your college days. Because, both are chemical engineering that's why I am preferring you Thapar Institute of Technology.

You have to understand that all PG courses abroad are specialized one. You may not have it as M.Sc Chemistry. You visit one of the university website and see courses available. You can do Masters in UK as it is one year programme and it will cost you only around 10 Lacs, other countries will be more costly.

A candidate from any stream can study psychology course. You can do graduation course after class 12th, which is a three year degree course. After completing graduation, you can also do Master's degree in psychology and even research works also.

If you wish to pursue your career in chemistry you can go with B.Sc and M.Sc in same after which either you can go for teaching or industrial jobs depends on your interest. Also, after B.Sc you can do MBA and apply for the industrial jobs if you are interested, or either you could go for industrial chemistry and many fields such as organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. Other than this, there is list where you can go for Environmental chemistry, Nuclear chemistry all is it depends on your interest. Check the last year cut-offs to have an idea of your chances though physics & maths is difficult to get.
