The eligibility criteria for M.Sc(Chemistry) from VIT is B.Sc degree in either chemistry or applied chemistry or applied science from any recognized university with physics or mathematics or biology as ancillary subject. There is no entrance exam for M.Sc programs and candidates will be called for a counseling in the order of merit of their aggregate marks secured in their undergraduate degree programmes calculated upto the fourth semester or second year, whichever is applicable (This is inclusive of Languages / EOP and all the subjects they have studied up-to pre-final year).

You are supposed to complete B.Sc first before thinking about M.Sc with a minimum of 55% at least.

It would be preferable to appear for entrance exams for professional courses. Science stream has many professional higher education prospects to offer. One can go for MBBS or engineering or any other higher courses as one desires. For MBBS, one can apply for NEET UG entrance exam, and for engineering, you can apply for JEE. Furthermore there are tons of other options.

The minimum qualification required to open a medical store is to do a Diploma in Pharmacy, which can be done or the eligibility for this course is class 12th in Science.

As per my knowledge and experience, you can take any subject from it, and it depends on your interest and academic performance. It depends on the command you have on that subject.

Both have bright career options available. If you want to explore in research field and you like to work with chemical jobs or you could be a professors. You should go for chemistry B.Sc. But, if you want to do programming jobs your mind works more conveniently in logics go for computer Science engineering or BCA.
