Your cutoff is very less to get admission in Chennai Institute of Technology. However, if you belong to SC, ST, etc. then you might get a seat but the chances are low. Hence, you can try your best at the counselling.

I am afraid CIT no more gives admissions based on JEE Mains. It's a private college affiliated to Anna University and since last year, admissions in Tamil Nadu are given based in marks obtained in 12th exam. Tamil Nadu Govt wanted to eliminate stress on students for entrance exam & hence this step.
