Hello Jeeva,
Your cutoff is very less to get admission in Chennai Institute of Technology. However, if you belong to SC, ST, etc. then you might get a seat but the chances are low. Hence, you can try your best at the counselling.

Hi, CSE or ECE which one is best depends upon your interest .if you have interest in coding and computer science things then CSE will be right choice. If you have interest in electronics things as well as some coding, then ECE would be the best.

Hello Vishal,
I am afraid CIT no more gives admissions based on JEE Mains. It's a private college affiliated to Anna University and since last year, admissions in Tamil Nadu are given based in marks obtained in 12th exam. Tamil Nadu Govt wanted to eliminate stress on students for entrance exam & hence this step. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about getting admission in this institution.
