Admission to CIPET Chennai is competitive, especially for popular courses like B.Tech. in Plastics Engineering. Clearing CIPET JEE and meeting eligibility criteria are crucial. Factors like cut-off ranks, seat availability, and category-wise reservations influence admission difficulty. To increase chances, prepare thoroughly for CIPET JEE, aim for a high rank, stay updated on the admission process, and consider alternative CIPET campuses.

S.A. Engineering College in Chennai is considered a good option for pursuing engineering, offering various courses and facilities. The campus is well-located, providing access to key amenities and industries. It has good industry relationships, contributing to a decent placement rate, with companies such as TCS, CTS, Wipro, and Infosys visiting the campus. Students from various branches, including Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering, report a strong academic environment and industry exposure, although the highest packages tend to be modest compared to top-tier institutions.

IMI Delhi is better than Great Lakes Chennai because it has a longer history, strong industry connections, and offers a variety of management programs. It is well-recognized globally with an FT ranking of being 12th in India and  86th globally for Masters in Management,   excellent placements, and provides students with many opportunities for overall growth. While Great Lakes is known for its 1-year program, IMI Delhi's reputation and strong alumni network make it a better choice for a 2 year full time PGDM programme.
