Freshers are definitely having hopes and dreams of this college. Few tips that I would like to share for any fresher entering.
1) Form a group of friends within the first week else you will be left out later. SEE the people who match you taste and get social.
2) Make sure you utilise everything that VIT has to offer, like the gym, games, courts and events.
3) Add atleast two people of the cross gender to your group, will be useful in academics and a good campus life.
4) Make sure you study from day 1, as such is the competition and grading system. Tendency of having a backlog in any subject is quite common. So grind well.
5) Make sure

There is no specific dress code as such, unless you wear something that is eye-catching (if you get it) There are red-tag faculty members who regularly monitor student's activities and their dress codes regularly. If found vulgar, they have the authority to raise fine and also suspend for a the worst case. The student will be sent to enquiry for dressing that way and parents are called. According to a few students, there is no life in college, as you feel totally alienated. Lots of restrictions and rules along with academic downfalls all add up to depression. Unless you find your troops it's really hard to survive here. You will not be allowed to go out or out of your hostel post 9 pm. Heavy academic schedules, classes, and assignments add a lot of pressure. If you are an above-average student like me (80 - 90%) in schooling you will find backlogs quite common. Your 90 marks will suddenly turn out to be 45 which brings a lot of happiness to your face. But ultimately your placement is guaranteed. If you are a social pe

Talking about the accommodation outside, you have plenty number of flats and PGs within a radius of 2 km. You would definitely require a two wheeler for your transportation unless you stay in TATA apartments which is a building next to the campus. Some other PGs where students commonly live are Sai Nila, Vinayaka PGs, TATA, SBIOS, etc.Approximately, the cost for PGs:NON AC - 3 BEDDED - 9000 per month including three meals a day. AC - 3 BEDDED - 12000 - 14000 plus AC charges extra (meals included).I would suggest you to take an apartment for rent rather than PGs along with your friends. Staying outside is the best option, as you wi

Firstly you need to have 60% minimum in your undergraduate degree. Exams like XAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA are valid. NMAT AND CMAT cutoff on an average - 87 percentile. The admission procedure is quite simple. Report directly with your mark of any of these exams to secure a seat.

The specific rules and guidelines regarding seat acceptance, rejection, and participation in subsequent counseling phases can vary depending on the admission process and the specific institution or counseling authority involved. In general, if you have been allotted a seat in the second phase of counseling, you may have the option to either accept the seat and confirm your admission or reject the seat and participate in the subsequent phases of counseling. To make an informed decision, it is important to consider the following:
1. Seat Acceptance Deadline: Check the deadline for accepting the seat that has been allotted to you in the se
