I think VIT Vellore is better than SRM Chennai, from SRM University it is now SRM institute of Science and technology because of no Research infrastructure. But yes SRM provides good sort of Placements. There are three campuses of SRM in Chennai area Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram.

You may get shortlisted for the admission procedure at NMIMS Hyderabad. Based on trends, the estimated NMAT cutoff for the MBA course at NMIMS Hyderabad is above 200 marks. The NMAT cutoff for IFMR GSB Chennai was 220 in the previous year. Therefore, if your cutoff goes down by a few marks, you may get a call from this college to participate in admission counseling for the management course. This estimate is based on previous year's cut-off data, and actual results may differ depending on the difficulty of this year's paper and the number of applicants.
