To apply for admission at IIT Bhilai, candidates must apply through the official website of respective accepting entrance exams and fill out the application form in online mode. IIT Bhilai admission to most of the courses is entrance-based. Further, for admission to PhD course, candidates must apply on the official website of IIT Bhilai. Note: For MTech, the qualifying candidates have to further apply for COAP and then apply on the official website of IIT Bhilai to proceed to confirm their admission. No, admission to M.Tech at IIT Bhilai is not possible without qualifying for GATE. It is mandatory for candidates to appear and qualify for the exam with a valid score. Based on their ranks, candidates will be allocated seats and branch accordingly. Candidates who secure a good rank in GATE exam can register for COAP Counselling process. However, for admission to MTech (Bio-Engineering) branch, candidates can apply via GPAT scores. These candidates will be exempted from appearing for GATE.
