Children's University offers course at PG and doctoral levels. Aspirants need to pass a minimum of graduation to apply for PG courses whereas PG degree is required for PhD programmes. Hence, only qualifying Class 12 will not get admission in the university. CRU has not specified the minimum eligibility criteria. However, 60% is a decent score and aspirants with this score in graduation or PG degree can get admission provided they also fulfil the selection requirements.

Candidates seeking admission in PG courses does not require entrance exam score for admission. Children's University offers admission to PG courses based on the merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Admission to PhD programme is entrance-based. Aspirants must pass UGC-NET, UGC CSIR NET, NET-JRF or GSET for PhD admission. The university also conducts CRU PET for candidates without any entrance exam score.
