Chirala Engineering College Eligibility

As per the college's admission requirements,  the eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Chirala Engineering College is as follows:Category-A seats (70% of intake):The candidate shall be of Indian National.The candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being conducted.The candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognised as equivalent to Intermediate thereto.For Lateral Entry (3-year Diploma holders):Candidate must have passed Diploma in relevant stream from a recognised Institute.Minimum marks in the Diploma programme as per university requirements, which is typically around 50%.

Eligibility criteria to join B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering colleges:Candidates should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying exam 10th class for Diploma courses, (10+2) for B.Tech Courses.Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET).B.Tech/B.E admissions are regulated by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE). Admissions made are in two categories i.e. A & B, as per the guidelines mentioned in various GOs released by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.Category-A  Seats: There is a centralized online system maintained by APSCHE for 70% of the Category-A (Aspirants applying through the state entrance exam)Category – B Seats: The remaining 30 % of the total seats (Category – B: Management Quota- 5% NRI,25% other states) are filled by the college as per the guidelines transparently issued by the APSCHE.
