Hi, Chitkara University is definitely a good option to pursue B.Tech, as it offers a fabulous up-to-date industry based curriculum to study with due attention to practical knowledge rather than theoretical which is the need of an hour plus a whole complete package of tremendously great placements. Yes, when it comes to drug addiction and other malpractices, you may have to come across them nearly in all university hostels, unfortunately it has become the part and parcel of university hostels now and is majorly found in boys hostel but my suggestion would why to give up on an excellent opportunity for this matter; rather you may go with PG options nearby the university area if you can manage day to day up down.
