If you fail in one subject like Math out of the six subjects in your CBSE board exam, then that may affect your eligibility to give the CUET or CUCET. In fact, eligibility criteria for both CUET and CUCET are different and for undergraduate courses, they require all candidates to pass in all the subjects in Class 12.

For undergraduate courses at Delhi University (DU), a backlog in the undergraduate studies may not allow one to get admitted immediately. DU usually demands that a student clear all his/her backlogs before the course begins. Since you have appeared for CUET PG, you are eligible for the postgraduate programs at DU. If you want to seek admission for a UG course, then it is a must to clear the backlog before applying; CUET PG results are relevant for postgraduate admissions.

With 84 marks in Statistics and 56 marks in Mathematics in the CUET exam, and having completed a B.Sc. in Mathematics, you are likely eligible to apply for an M.Sc. in Statistics. However, the final decision depends on the cutoffs set by the universities offering the program. Each university may have different cutoff marks based on factors such as the number of applicants and seat availability. Since your Mathematics score is somewhat lower, it's important to check if the specific institution you're applying to has any minimum required marks in Mathematics.
