The sectional weightage for DU CUET LL.B. 2023 question paper is as follows:
* English Language Comprehension: 25%
* General Knowledge:25%
* Analytical Abilities:25%
* Legal Awareness and Aptitude:* 25%
Each section will have a total of 25 questions, for a total of 100 questions in the exam. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode (CBT) for a duration of 120 minutes. The exam will be divided into four sections which will carry objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). As per the marking scheme of DU CUET-PG 2023, the marking scheme will be based on following criterion:
Each question will carry four marks. For each correct response, candidate will get four marks. For each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted from the total score. For un-answered/ un-attempted questions no marks will be given to candidates. To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose only one option as correct option. Marking two options as correct answers will be considered as wrong attempt, and negative marking will be applied in such cases. However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Final Answer Key will be awarded marks. In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates irrespective of the fact who have attempted it or not.

No, the question paper of DU CUET LL.B. 2023 will be carrying only objective-type I. e. multiple-choice based questions for all papers. This means, candidates will be provided question papers on the screen (designated/ allotted systems at the centres), wherein candidates will have to read and interpret the questions and fill the correct option from the available options on the screen. They will not be required to write answers on OMR sheet. Therefore, no subjective type questions will be asked in the exam, wherein candidates will be required to write sentences or long answers or essays.
