The admission process in SMS Medical College is based on the scores of NEET for both the undergraduate and the post graduate programs. Yes, Shyam Lal College in New Delhi accepts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admission to undergraduate courses. The college has been accepting CUET UG scores since 2022. For admission to postgraduate courses, Shyam Lal College has been accepting CUET-PG scores since 2023. The college's admission process is completely online. The final selection is done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. In addition to CUET, students need to appear for the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions.

Yes, CUET application fee was revised in 2024. The CUET registration fee will be updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2024 registrations at cuetug-ac.ntaonline.in. Candidates will be able to know the revised fee, exam pattern and important dates on release of CUET 2024 notification at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

The test was formerly known as the Central Universities Common Admission Exam until 2021. Through a CUET 2024 counselling session, candidates will be assigned seats in the universities/ institutes and courses of their choice. Each university/ institute will conduct its own CUET 2024 counselling process.All qualified applicants who want to be accepted at one of the participating universities must complete the admission form on the institution's official website. Lastly, candidates must bring the admission form to the relevant university or institute on the counselling day.
