Life at department of journalism, Madras Christian College could be rewarding and refreshing to students. Campus has experienced faculty and creates environment for curious learning. The Media Centre at the college has shooting rooms for photography and videography, as well as an edit suite.

However, the total fee for the Mass Comm/Journalism course is INR 1,02,231, and the total hostel fee for Mass Comm/Journalism is INR 1,17,000. CDC provide better placement than adesh university. Median pacakage offered at CDC for BDS was 3.5 LPA and for MDS was 8 LPA with a placement rate of 63% and 100% while average pacakage offered at adesh university was between 2.2lpa-3lpa with a placement rate of around 50%. However, adesh university provide 6 month compulsory internship to all the students which help them in gaining expereince.

In CDC, total seat intake is 40 for BDS program. Out of which 24 seats are allotted to Christian MInority Candidates, 8 seats are for Open category (Amongst these seats, 5 are allotted to applicants belonging to the state of Punjab), 6 seats are for NRIs, The rest of the seats are then allotted to the remaining categories.

You can get admission into this college through the NEET examination and after that you need to apply in the online counselling.Cutoff (General) for BDS in 2023 was 108575 and in 2022 was 153770. You have to score at least 450-460 marks in NEET for a general candidate to get admission into it.
