The selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.The college offers BSc specializations under the government-aided and self-financed category. The admissions will begin after the Tamil Nadu government announces its 12th results. MCC, established in 1837, is a private liberal arts and sciences college located in Chennai, India. MCC offers more than forty UG, PG and doctoral programs in arts, Science and commerce. Admissions for undergraduate programs are merit based followed by counseling while that of postgraduates except MCA is also made after final selection and counselling on merit basis.
