It all Depends from where you are going to do the course. Since you have not mentioned the college and also about your last academics. FTTI is a Government Body and is the best. FTTI, Pune - They offer 3 years Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography. Fees for 1 year including Hostel - 120000/- approximately. Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent (The candidates who have not received their graduation degree before the application date are required to submit the same before the date of admission). Hi Biju,
In Journalism & mass Communication courses - emphasis is more on writing skills / story making / Presentation / facing camera etc .
In media & Entertainment - Its more about becoming an anchor / personality development and other aspects of movie making but in lesser depth.
But if you are interested in cinematography - the course is entirely different.
You should go for Film & Television Technology - it covers all aspects of film making & cinematography as well. This will increase your chances of job prospects.
