If you cracked UPSC ESE then definitely join as IES. Or if you are preparing then give both GATE and UPSC ESE your first priority should be IES then any PSU job.

The best thing to do now is to attend LPU NEST and apply for admission to B Tech. However, you must meet the eligibility criteria. Eligibility for the programme is passed with 60% marks in 10 2 (Physics-Mathematics and English or equivalent related to qualifying LPU NEST.
