It depends on the home state and category. If you belong to any respective NIT's home state, you can easily get a seat. But in other state case you can get mechanical and civil in NIT Puducherry and civil in NIT Surathkal.

Hello Rohan,
You would be eligible for admission in first year for this course, if you can produce equivalence certificate of class 12th. For lateral admissions, normally similar branch Diploma is required. Best wishes.

Yes, you can do so, but not as a regular course as you are a govt. employee. So, you can't do regular Master's parallel to your job. You can do it as a distance course or part time masters which will be recognized by your job authority. All the best.
