If you cracked UPSC ESE then definitely join as IES. Or if you are preparing then give both GATE and UPSC ESE your first priority should be IES then any PSU job.

Hello Harpreet, It's very nice to see your desire of studying Engineering graduation in Japan. However many countries including Japan do not accept Diploma as the qualification for undergraduate studies. 10 + 2 or XIIth standard is normally considered as the basis for granting admission. However some colleges do accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th and based on this assumption you can seek admission.
