If we compare overall Civil is easier than an electrical branch. Electrical branch is one of the toughest branches of Engineering, so it's just a matter of interest if you have interest in any branch of engineering it will be very easy to understand the subjects otherwise it may feel like the hardest one also. Hello Bhumika, yes indeed like any other branch of engineering students of civil engineering branch also get placed during their final year of engineering. The thing to understand is that depending on the industrial situation prevailing when you will be passing out and of course the corresponding economic condition of the country different companies will come for placements of students of different colleges. So rather than the branch of the engineering it's the economic condition four years from today when you will be passing out will play a vitally important role in getting placed after completion of the degree course. IIT-Roorkee is known for its placements in core branches and provides excellent support. Also, they have great MoUs with top notch head honchos in job markets and consulting companies who recruit a majority of students with domestic and International roles. Top companies for civil branch include Bosch, Reliance, Mahindra Group, Lodha Developers, Ultra-tech Cement, Welspun, Larsen and Toubro, Tata Steel, Arcelor Mittal, HPCL.

It is totally based on your interest. If you are really good in dealing with Chemistry, you can go with Chemical Engineering. Else, if you are good in dealing with Physics and contributions then go with Civil.

The placement of institute is best for Computer science and for management. But, somehow Tula's also manage placements for other departments like civil and Mechanical, but the package is not enough.so i suggest you to take decision very carefully. You can get placement in marketing from Tulas at best package.
