There is no branch of engineering which is good or bad. Better is the branch in which you have interest because if you will have interest then only you can complete your engineering and can get high paid jobs. So, choose the branch in which you are interested.

Civil engineering is still a fruitful option with several construction companies and metro rail corporations emerging. In public sector there are opportunities for civil engineers in academics, PWDs, public health engineering and water authority and irrigation departments. Entrepreneurial opportunities are limitless. Remember, dreams are not what you see in sleep, dreams are those that do not let you sleep.

It will be extremely difficult to get appointment as an arbitrator immediately after civil engineering graduation degree. These roles are given to very senior experienced civil engineers who can arbitrat between contractor and contract awarding agency and must be acceptable to both parties. It is too early for you to think of becoming an arbitrator.
