Hi, both core and non-core engineering companies visit Chandigarh University for civil engineering placements. And the interesting thing is that 100% placements are being offered to students at Chandigarh University for civil engineering students. Also, there is a unique Department in campus, that is Department for Career Planning & Development, which provides Pre placement training to students from day one for various interview rounds. Some say that SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT) in Bangalore, India has good placements for most branches except for civil and mechanical engineering.The 2018 batch had no placements for civil and mechanical engineering, with only 20 out of over 300 students from those branches getting placed. However, the college has a good placement cell and that the highest package for the course is around 15 LPA, with a starting package of around 3 to 3.5 LPA .
