As we all know that civil engineering is a core branch, now a days core branches do not have high packages except iits, nits and other premier universities in India. Day by day demand for civil engineering also decreasing due to abnormal increase in demand for computer science. So by considering all this issues, the average package for B.Tech Civil Engineering students at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University is very low. The average package is around 2 LPA and the highest is around 5 LPA

In terms of placements for Bachelor of technology (B.Tech) in civil engineering at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University is just ok. From Semester 7th and 8th students are eligible for placement. Around 10 to 15 companies are visited for placement with low intake and package. But it is less when compared to other high-class level colleges. 5 lac per annum is the highest  placement for civil department. I found that many students select this university for civil engineering for IES examination only.
