At Kolhan University, both Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering have good placement opportunities, but Mechanical Engineering generally has a slight edge. This is because mechanical engineers are in demand across industries like automobile, manufacturing, and energy, with top recruiters like Tata Motors, L&T, and Mahindra offering more job options. On the other hand, Civil Engineering also has good placements, especially in construction and infrastructure, with companies like L&T and DLF. However, the demand and salary for mechanical engineers tend to be higher overall. Best of luck with your decision!

Both these branches are good and best in their respective fields and offer good career opportunities to students. But if we compare both of these, civil engineering is slightly better for both private and government jobs. Civil engineering has significantly more demand in infrastructure development projects.
