The qualification to become an IAS officer is a 3/4 year graduation course. There is no criteria of percentage in your academic career.

IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
To become IAS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after 12th complete Graduation from a recognized university.
Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.
It is under Civil Service Exam conducted once in a Year by UPSC.To become an IAS Officer One Needs to crack Civil Service Exam.
You need focused study of subjects.You should analyze the syllabus, and hard work is needed to crack this examination.Its important to have some reading habits as that will help you to keep yourself updated about the current affairs.Read lots of magazine

Hello Anirudh, as you are done with your HSC, you will have to further go for graduation. You can start preparing for IAS at home or you can join a coaching. If you want to start preparing at home, go through the syllabus once and start practicing daily. Read newspapers, stay updated with current affairs, solve aptitude and reasoning daily.
