Start with economics and polity. Because once you understand the fundamentals of these subjects you will be able to comprehend newspaper in a better way.
For economics NCERT class 12th Macroeconomic book is a must for concept building. Finish it in a week and then move to Ramesh Singh's Indian Economy for Civil Services.
Simultaneously with economics or after that pick up Indian Polity for Civil Services by M Laxmikant. Polity is very important subject IAS and this book is sufficient for prelims.
After that you can move to history or geography. For modern history everyone recommends Bipin Chandra's book. But don't neglect Spectrum's book
